“This filing is another important step in elevating GBTC to a spot Bitcoin ETF,” Grayscale spokeswoman Jen Rosenthal said in a statement, noting that the company wants to convert its Bitcoin trust into an ETF. “At Grayscale, we continue to work with the SEC and are prepared to operate GBTC as an ETF once we receive regulatory approval.”
