It’s always nice to hear about new grants being awarded. But what happens after the announcement? In this series, we’ll take a look at a few projects that are either well underway or have already reached the finish line. Read on to learn about our grantees’ recent milestones and achievements!

tariff list for Ethereum India Fellowship 2.0

Devfolio’s Ethereum India Fellowship 2.0 has two tracks targeting different groups for rigorous eight-week training and mentorship with the goal of onboarding talented developers into the Ethereum ecosystem. Track 1 brought together 20 talented Web2 developers with little to no blockchain experience, including:

  • Learn about the building blocks for Ethereum development, including Solidity, Remix, and Hardhat.
  • Explore a variety of use cases, from DeFi to DAOs, NFTs, and decentralized storage.
  • Work on an Ethereum-based project of your choice

Track 2 focuses more intensively on project development for a full 8 weeks for intermediate Web3 developers. Projects ranged from new L2 implementations to privacy infrastructure security with mentorship from industry veterans.

that much EtherPunk Online Hackathonwhich took place during the first half of the fellowship program, was a timely opportunity for fellows to submit their projects to a hackathon and connect with prominent developers for presentations and feedback sessions.

Fellows have achieved many accomplishments during and after the program. Developers who started the program with little or no knowledge of Ethereum have already been able to win thousands of dollars in hackathon prize money and land internships at leading companies in the ecosystem. Web3 Lab for web3j

Web3j is a JVM and Android integrated library for Ethereum created to make it easier for Java developers to use Ethereum. Java is one of the most used languages ​​in corporate environments, and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is one of the most popular development platforms. First released by Web3 Labs founder Conor Svensson in 2016 with the goal of supporting JVM developers, Web3j has been developed and maintained by Web3 Labs since 2017. Web3 Labs has received grants for ongoing work on Web3j, and recent work includes:

  • Web3j update documentation
  • Updating Maven plugin
  • Solidity library dependency management development
  • Added smart contract migration support

The Web3 Labs team will continue to be the stewards of Web3j with planned work including improving the developer experience, implementing the eth2 client open API, improvements requested in recent user surveys, and ongoing maintenance.
