Since its launch, Shibarium has been making headlines every few weeks. The network registered millions of transactions in a matter of weeks, with 1.3 million wallets.
Now, the L2 network is gaining support across the cryptocurrency exchange industry. Gate.ioone of the largest exchanges by user base and trading volume, has joined the list of exchanges to enable Shibarium support.
With the new integration, traders can now withdraw BONE (Shibaswap tokens) to their Shibarium wallet via Gate.io. Lucie, Shiba Inu’s Head of Marketing, spoke about the development of X/Twitter.
The tweet said the latest milestone raised the Shibarium’s ramp. With Gate.io enabling fiat deposit options, users can now purchase BONE on the platform. These tokens can be taken to Shibarium to explore the dApp ecosystem.
The Shiba Inu community is celebrating unity, as expected. Obtaining top-tier exchange support is a problem many blockchains face. But Sybarium seems to be overcoming that challenge quite comfortably.
With over 1.6 million holders, Shiba Inu is one of the largest cryptocurrency projects on the market. Adding support for dedicated blockchains will also give Gate.io global exposure. The exchange also hopes to attract more volume and traders with this move.
Gate.io isn’t the only platform to announce Shibarium support in recent months. GroveX, an Australia-based exchange, also activated support for Shibarium a few months ago.
Shytoshi Kusama, team lead at Shibarium, also spoke about discussing further integrations into multiple exchanges and networks. Considering the pace at which Shibarium is evolving, it is expected to outperform many established blockchains.
