IBIT’s first spot BTC ETF achieves $2 billion in AUM

Investors added about $170 million to IBIT on Thursday, with the fund purchasing nearly 4,300 more Bitcoin (BTC), bringing its total token holdings to 49,952. Early Friday, Bitcoin’s price rose well above the $40,000 level, pushing AUM past $2 billion.
