VeThorCoin is a fraudulent cryptocurrency platform that claims to offer a variety of trading features and market tools but is being used to defraud investors.
The platform itself is reasonably well designed and it’s easy to see why someone might be fooled into thinking it’s real at first.
But if you scratch beneath the surface, there are plenty of signs that this is operating as a scam.
Some of the problems with the platform include:
- This is a brand new domain registration.
- There is very limited information about the platform’s operating policies.
- There are no details about the operating company or address.
- There is no licensing or regulatory agency information anywhere on the site.
- There are no social media or app store transactional apps.
- There are several reports that the platform is being used as part of a scam.
- The Domain Authority (DA) rating is 1, which is the lowest rating possible.
- Many internal pages simply link to a login page rather than providing information.
- Many pages are simply free feeds from other platforms.
Due to the above and other factors, investors should avoid financial losses in connection with this platform.
This can be difficult because scammers can be very persuasive, especially if the victim has developed a relationship with them online before moving to the VeThorCoin platform.
Can I recover cash or cryptocurrency lost due to VeThorCoin scam?
It is incredibly difficult to recover funds from scammers on your own, so you should always report what happened to the authorities in your country.
There are also private companies that can help, as I wrote here.
