It is written in fedimint.org:
Fedimint aims to solve this problem by decentralizing custodianship across millions of communities, making it easy for them to do their own banking. These community-driven ‘banks’ are known as Fedimint federations(…)
Fedimint allows Bitcoin users to onboard new users and support custody and payment models. New Bitcoin users can be onboarded directly as part of the federation instead of referring them to a third-party custodian.
In other words, you can be your mom/friend/village bank.
I don’t have any friends. Most human interactions I have are on sites like: bitcoin.stackexchange.com. Do you have an online, clearnet or onion network, federated list similar to the server list of other federated systems such as cache, XMPP or nostr?
