We are excited to announce the launch of a large-scale translation program for Ethereum.org. The program will translate your website and other resources into more than 15 languages.
Ethereum is a global project, so it is important that Ethereum.org reflects our global community. Since the website relaunch, our team has prioritized putting together a translation program to ensure that resources on Ethereum are accessible to everyone, regardless of nationality or language.
Today, we are excited to launch our first fully translated website. The Korean version of the website is currently available at: ethereum.org/en. In the coming weeks, our program will expand with a focus on completing translations into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German, and Italian. This initial set of languages was selected based on search volume for Ethereum and related terms and traffic from Ethereum-related websites.
These efforts will initially focus on translating Ethereum.org, but will expand over time to include translation of important community resources such as documentation, guides, blog posts, and more.
The translation program will be a combination of volunteer-driven translation, project management by the Ethereum Foundation team, and professional translation services as needed to fill gaps or provide audits.
Are you interested in helping with translation work for a specific language? We are looking for volunteers from the global Ethereum community to join our language-specific teams. we hope you Learn more and get involved here.
