On-chain detective ZachXBT foiled a cryptocurrency phishing scheme to steal $4.3 million in artificial fluid intelligence (ALI) tokens.

Hackers using the infamous Inferno Drainer compromised a wallet containing 113,102,183 ALI tokens. The rapid action taken thereafter is a testament to the power of community governance and expert intervention in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Upon learning of the breach, ZachXBT immediately notified its core team, with surprised community members. Accordingly, an emergency governance vote was called. The community decided to burn the compromised tokens, effectively neutralizing the threat posed by hackers.
“After seeing the Scam Sniffer’s message, I immediately alerted my core team and investors who helped us lead an emergency community vote to burn the stolen tokens after victim approval.” ZachXBT said.
Despite the community’s active measures, the price of artificial fluid intelligence tokens has not yet recovered. At the time of writing, ALI is trading at $0.03, down about 7% in the last 24 hours.
