At Devcon 4 Aya Miyaguchi gave a lecture. We talk about the values of the Ethereum Foundation, Ethereum representing hope for an open future, and the better world we can create by applying this philosophy and technology. Our community reflects this effort as many people embrace the spirit of Kaizen – continuous change for the better – through their daily work.
As a non-profit organization, the Ethereum Foundation has a vision that we strive to describe and embody through our values, mission, and work, but we also know that the developers behind dApps built on Ethereum are the ones who will execute this vision. . Together, we can build a more accessible, more trusted, and freer Internet globally, and ultimately a society with less imbalance and injustice. That’s why we want to learn more about the changes that are already happening with influential dApps built on Ethereum. If you or someone you know is building an application on Ethereum to solve a real problem, we’d like to hear from you. Please take a short survey that takes about 3 to 5 minutes. Available here now.
While the first dApps were still conceptual just a few years ago, we’ve gone from proof-of-concept to seeing developers solving challenging problems in their local and regional communities in a short amount of time. We believe it is part of our responsibility to highlight the good-faith efforts and positive actions of everyone who helps realize the mission of the Ethereum Foundation.
To that end, we’ve been working to connect new and underfunded construction companies with the most engaged members of the industry through programs like this year’s scholarship track at Devcon. This work will continue and expand, but the reason we’re taking on this new effort is because it allows us to learn more about our community in the short term.
The Ethereum Foundation is just one of the many stars of this ecosystem, but our goal is to connect and support others working to improve the world. Help us become better connectors and advocates for all of us by increasing our understanding of all the stars out there, including those hidden from our view!
Let’s bring this constellation to life. thank you We hope you will participate in our survey, and we look forward to hearing from you!
