Veve, the NFT collectibles platform on Ethereum, has launched its new Veve Comics platform and online comic book reader. The initial collection of comic books was obtained from Marvel Comics.
Salvation came with Marvel Comics, allowing enthusiasts on Veve to connect with over 300 of the latest Marvel online editions. This includes hero-centric pieces like Spiderman, X-Men, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther. The latest comic books are reviewed by a panel as they are published. According to the company, all pages were converted directly online.
What sets the Veve comic book platform apart from buying online comic books from Amazon is that Veve gives you access to limited edition NFT versions. This takes into account that the price of regular online comic books is the same for both online and print versions.
Limited NFT versions can be accessed at multiple levels and have exclusive edition numbers. It is possible to resell NFTs issued on Immutable X, Ethereum’s upgradeable network, on the Veve marketplace. The book consists of five individual comic book covers and can be read in a realistic environment in the Veve application.
The limited edition costs about $3 more than the regular online version, which does not come with tokenization in the form of an NFT.
According to David Yu, CEO of Veve, they were in line with online comics enthusiasts’ expectations for better comprehensive exposure. We focused on building a platform that makes comics more comfortable.
Users can download the Veve comic book application for free on iOS and Android devices. For Veve, this is the starting point of partnerships with several companies involved in the comics sector.
Veve was officially founded in 2018 and is involved in online collectibles for various major entertainment businesses, including: Marble, DC Comics, Disney, etc. In the case of Immutable X, it is a gaming network utilized for NFTs related to games such as Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians.
