How to easily pay your BitPay cryptocurrency invoice
The BitPay payment experience is secure, intuitive, and flexible.
Step 1: Select BitPay as your payment method at checkout.
BitPay is the safest and most secure way to pay online.
Step 2: Select Start Payment.
Depending on the merchant you are paying with or the transaction amount, you may be asked to verify your BitPay ID. Don’t have a BitPay ID? Sign up to get started. BitPay ID is a simple way to manage your payment information with BitPay and simplify login to multiple BitPay products. All you need is your email and password. The one-time verification requirement is for BitPay merchants or anyone making an advance payment of $3,000 or more, initiating a refund request for an amount of $1000 or more, or receiving a BitPay payment.
Step 3: Choose a wallet.
BitPay supports over 100 of the most popular cryptocurrency wallets, including all wallets supported by Wallet Connect 2.0.
Step 4: Choose a cryptocurrency.
When you connect your wallet, BitPay automatically displays available assets that can be used to pay BitPay invoices. If you have not yet logged in with your BitPay ID, you may be prompted to enter your email address. Your email will be used to receive payment information and process refunds. Can’t find your favorite coin or token? Either BitPay has not added support for that asset or the merchant has decided not to accept it.
Step 5: Pay your bill
If you pay using BitPay Wallet, you can select “Pay in Wallet”. An invoice will be created in the Wallet app allowing you to complete the payment. Alternatively, complete the transaction by scanning the QR code with the wallet app or manually entering the seller’s receiving wallet information into your wallet. Once you confirm the payment in your wallet, the payment amount will be reflected on your invoice immediately. Don’t forget to send your payment in the 15-minute payment window.
