In separate filings, Tigran Gambaryan, head of financial crime compliance at the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, and Nadeem Anjarwalla, regional manager for Africa, filed a petition to the Federal High Court in Abuja to release them from the authorities. They called for an order to return their passports and issue public identification cards. The leadership apologized, it said, citing Nigeria’s state-run news agency.
