John Deaton, an XRP advocate running for Senate in Massachusetts, has made serious allegations against incumbent U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, as discord escalates in politics and cryptocurrency circles. Deaton’s campaign, which launched in February, positions him as a Republican challenger to Warren, a Democrat known for her tough stance on cryptocurrencies.

through name In Deaton’s accusations center on allegations that Warren failed to investigate or address SBF’s connections between him and various regulatory and government figures, despite new details about SBF’s trial and his political donations.

“Sam Bankman-Fried now claims he didn’t know it was illegal to steal his clients’ money and use it for political donations,” Deaton said, referring to SBF’s trial that revealed the FTX founder had donated $10 million to the Biden administration. said.

Deaton highlighted SBF’s interactions with key regulatory figures, including SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, U.S. Treasury CFTC Chair, and then-U.S. House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters. “The evidence shows that the reason he gave the money was ‘to buy access,’” Deaton elaborated, revealing that SBF had held numerous meetings with top regulators.

Deaton’s claims went beyond SBF’s individual actions and included extensive criticism of the regulatory and political environment surrounding cryptocurrencies. “Now ask yourself: Why did the DOJ dismiss the criminal case against SBF for violating campaign finance laws? “The American people deserve transparency about their elected representatives.”

In particular, he took aim at the lack of scrutiny of SBF’s relationship with key figures, including SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, despite Warren’s vocal concerns about the risks posed by cryptocurrencies. “What if we take into account her aggressive stance on cryptocurrencies?” Deaton questioned Warren’s approach to cryptocurrency regulation and her handling of the SBF case, suggesting a double standard.

The accusations also delve into the financial and political ties of the SBF family, particularly his parents, who claim Deaton received $10 million in FTX customer money. Lawyers supporting XRP have highlighted their luxury real estate ownership and suggested that the reason they have not been prosecuted may be due to their political connections, which include Senator Warren.

“His mother, Barbara Fried, runs a Democratic super PAC called Mind the Gap. “When Senator Warren ran for president, SBF’s father, Joe Bankman, helped develop Senator Warren’s tax plan,” Deaton said, pointing out the intertwined ties between SBF’s family and Democratic politicians.

He said, “Joe Bankman, coincidentally, is also an expert in creating paper companies for the purpose of tax avoidance. Look at the ghost company he helped design for his son.”

Overall, Deaton’s campaign against Warren is not only a political contest, but also an expression of the ongoing debate in the United States regarding the role and regulation of cryptocurrencies. “Ordinary people are tired of the different rules being applied to Washington insiders. “Washington DC needs real leadership,” Deaton concluded, emphasizing the need for transparency and equity in both politics and cryptocurrency.

At press time, XRP was trading at $0.5798.
