A proposal by Ethereum Foundation researchers to slow down the speed of ETH issuance is sparking backlash.

Notably, Vitalik Buterin, the influential co-founder of the Ethereum blockchain, is one of three members of the Ethereum Foundation Board of Directors, according to the Ethereum Foundation website. The organization is described as a “non-profit supporting the Ethereum ecosystem” and part of a “larger community of organizations and individuals who fund protocol development, grow the ecosystem, and advocate for Ethereum.”
