I was experiencing significant delays in syncing the blockchain on my Raspberry Pi 4. Even after 11 days, the sync progress is only 68%. I’m using a new Raspberry Pi 4 with a 1TB USB 3.0 drive and a 400mbps wired internet connection. Despite adjusting various settings in the bitcoin.conf file, the sync speed did not improve at all.
I’ve verified that the wired connection is stable, and the hardware appears to be working properly.
You’re getting less than 10 peers, usually dropping to about 3. It is estimated that blocks come in on average every 2 seconds.
