According to a report by CoinDesk, two of OKX’s top executives have left the company.
Tim Byun, who served as the company’s head of global government relations, and Wei Lan, its head of product, have left OKX, it reported, citing anonymous sources. CEO Byun also once served as CEO of OKCoin, the parent company’s American subsidiary.
The departure comes as OKX seeks to expand its global presence and attract more customers outside of China. This exchange is one of the world’s largest exchanges by trading volume.
OKX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
