If the Devcon 1 What has proven anything in spades has certainly been the passion, creativity, and drive of the Ethereum developer community. A small but growing community is harnessing the never-before-seen potential of the Ethereum World Computer. only Reimagine Money (or even only Reimagining the Internet)… is also reimagining and providing an alternative model for restructuring the very fabric of our society around a more transparent and testable “stack.”
ÐΞVgrants came into existence It was created on April 7, 2015 to alleviate some of the natural burden of developing low-level tools that can advance the above scenarios. At DEVCON1, I gave a very short talk summarizing the projects funded so far, as well as a special presentation on ongoing funding.
Omise’s donation
The good news is that ÐΞVgrants is not over. We now have $100K USD in additional funds available through the new year, thanks to a generous donation from . skip.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to support the decentralization revolution, starting with our contribution to relaunch the Ethereum ÐΞVgrants program.” – Jun Hasegawa, CEO Omise
It is our hope that this donation will encourage both potential funders to come forward and support ÐΞVgrants and its related activities, as much as it encourages potential applicants. Thank you to Jun and Omise for their gesture of goodwill in the space.

Providing grants to developers of great platform-level Ethereum projects has allowed important new work to flourish, which in turn enables and accelerates higher-level developments on which others can build. As this highly successful experiment is once again open for business, take a look at your project and consider whether the components that benefit everyone could benefit from a grant.
