Bitfinex Pay – Release V0.6.5

that much Bitfinex Pay Merchant Dashboard An internal tool designed to provide powerful reports and features to help merchants manage their cryptocurrency gateways.

We are excited to share the latest updates on Bitfinex Pay. For more information about Bitfinex Pay, please visit https://blog.bitfinex.com/category/bitfinex-pay/.

Seller Dashboard

improvement

  • We’ve completely redesigned the Invoice Details -> Payments menu to clearly display payments received and moved the option to manually add payments to its own section.
  • We separated the flow for manually creating invoices from the flow for adding new payments. Previously, you always had to add a new payment to complete an invoice manually. Now, if you already have one or more payments linked to an invoice, you can complete the invoice manually without having to add a new payment.
  • Added amount filter to Payments and Disconnected Deposits menu.
  • We’ve improved the confirmation mode that appears when you manually add a payment to an invoice to now display relevant information about both the payment and the invoice.
  • We’ve added a business option to the manual invoice generator to help you accurately identify and store your end customer’s business information.
  • The FIAT selector field for Manual Invoice Generator and POS Checkout creation is now wider to prevent currencies from being displayed on two lines.
  • Added translations for some missing text in the Settings menu.
  • You can now sort your payment menu data by amount, associated order ID, date, and time.
  • Multiple payments for the same invoice now appear together in the Payments menu.
  • Invoice -> An event has been added to the invoice history for split payments.
  • Added a selected visual state when selecting a predefined period for date filtering in the Invoice, Payment, and Auto Conversion History menus.
  • A few minor design improvements have been added to the wallet menu to make it easier to visually identify when automatic conversion is enabled for your wallet.
  • Improved the error text displayed to users when creating a manual invoice with an invalid amount using Bitcoin Lightning selected as an accepted token.
  • Added a button to disable all active automatic conversions in the wallet menu.
  • Manual payments performed on your Bitfinex wallet are off-chain to increase speed and save fees, so you will see the text “Off-chain Transaction” under “Transaction Hash” in the Payments menu for these kinds of payments.
  • We’ve improved the responsive design for Invoices -> Invoice Details so it looks great on mobile and tablet devices.
  • Show as… in invoice details to ensure text appears on one line for all languages. Adjusted dropdown width.
  • Replaced UST ticker with USDt in auto-convert CSV export.
  • Fee amount values now always display to 8 decimal places instead of an exponential formula in auto-conversion CSV exports.
  • We improved the design of the QR code modal when clicking Create QR for Invoice in the invoice details and added a short descriptive text and a button to download the QR in image format.
  • Improved the error text displayed to users when trying to manually create an invoice for a customer who has reached their daily limit.
  • Now, after creating an invoice manually, when you click on the successful invoice creation notification, you will be redirected to the Invoice Details menu for that new invoice.
  • Minor design improvements to the missing 2FA modal when merchants try to access the Merchant Dashboard without 2FA set up.
  • Added a disclaimer to the manual invoice generator when selecting the Bitcoin Lightning token as an accepted token for amounts over $1000.

correction

  • Fixed an issue where after changing to a new FIAT in Settings, the wallet would not display the correct currency conversion until the page was refreshed.
  • Fixed an issue where multiple rate limiting errors would appear when manually adding a payment to an invoice and selecting “I don’t know” when asked which token was used to complete the payment.
  • Fixed unexpected scrolling behavior when adding tokens to the manual invoice generator modal.
  • Fixed an issue where the disconnected payments menu search would return multiple results that were unrelated to the search when searching by deposit ID or transaction hash.
  • Fixed minor typo in FIAT currency list
  • Fixed an issue where newly added FIAT currencies (HNL and GTQ) were displayed at the bottom of the FIAT currency list instead of in alphabetical order.
  • Fixed a copy of the error displayed when trying to manually create an invoice using Bitcoin Lightning with an accepted token worth 5 BTC or more.

POS web app

improvement

  • Expanded the width of some buttons in the “Connect with QR” flow so that the buttons display all options on one line in all languages.
  • Amounts added to POS invoices are now automatically formatted for easy reading.
  • Standardized amount formats to display the same way as ecommerce invoices (EUR instead of €, USD instead of $, etc.)

correction

  • Fixed an issue where clicking to expand a QR code on a Bitcoin Lightning invoice would display the wrong QR code.
  • Fixed minor typos appearing on invoices generated with the newly added FIAT currencies (HNL – Honduran Lempira and GTQ – Guatemalan Quetzal).
