Several cryptocurrency projects are gearing up for significant token launches in May, led by Aavo, Pyth Network, Memecoin, and Starknet. data Token unlocks indicate that this project will experience its largest token unlocks this month.
Memecoin (MEME) has released 5.31 billion tokens, which makes up about 31% of its circulating supply and is currently worth nearly $128 million.
Aavo plans to launch 827.6 million AAVO tokens, worth approximately $1.1 billion, on May 15. These tokens will be allocated to initial private sale investors, the team, the DAO Treasury, and the remaining RNB in circulation (this is part of the tokenomics conversion process from RBN tokens to AEVO tokens).
Following Aavo, Pyth Network plans to unlock 2.13 billion PYTH tokens on May 20, with an estimated value of $1.1 billion. This release will benefit data publishers, private sales investors, protocol development, and ecosystem growth.
Starknet’s token unlock is scheduled for May 16th. 64 million STRK tokens will be released, representing nearly 8.8% of the circulating supply and valued at approximately $82 million. This token is designated for: of the project Early contributors and investors.
Other notable token unlocks include Aptos (APT), Arbitrum (ARB), and Avalanche (AVAX).
Aptos plans to unlock 11.31 million tokens, equivalent to 2.65% of the circulating supply, on May 12, with a value of 103 million.
Arbitrum plans to unlock 92.65 million tokens on May 16, equivalent to 3.49% of the circulating supply worth $99 million.
Finally, Avalanche will unlock 9.54 million tokens on May 22nd, equivalent to approximately 2.5% of the circulating supply, valued at approximately $338 million.
