Gnosis, a blockchain infrastructure project championing radical inclusivity, announced the launch of Genome, the native digital identity service on Gnosis Chain.
Open registration is now open! 🚀
Missed pre-registration? Do not worry. Now anyone can register a .gno domain: https://t.co/afo44sro6d https://t.co/zxHpOnvmfZ

Developed in collaboration with Web3 domain and identity platform SpaceID and Web3 messaging protocol dm3, Genome allows users to translate long, technical wallet addresses into human-readable names, making it easier to send and receive transactions within the Gnosis ecosystem. there is.
Genome automatically grants users ownership of both .GNO and .gnosis.eth names, providing a seamless and interoperable user journey within Gnosis across EVM-compatible blockchains.
The service syncs across Gnosis dApps, communities, and social networks, giving users a single identity and login that can be used across a variety of services. Genome is also fully interoperable with the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), allowing users to claim ownership of two domain names at the same time.
“From payments to gaming to SocialFi, if Web3 is to deliver on its promise, it must accelerate interoperable on-chain communication and identification tools,” said Friederike Ernst, co-founder of Gnosis.
Genome integrates with various applications on Gnosis Chain, such as Gnosis Pay and Circles, as well as other blockchain utilities such as Blockscout and NiftyFair. Integration improves interoperability by allowing users to maintain consistent identities across multiple platforms.
According to Ralph Xu, Business Development Specialist at Gnosis, the key differentiator between Genome .gno domains and other products is the custom ENS resolver developed by the DM3 Protocol team.
The resolver pairs the .gno domain on the Gnosis chain with the corresponding subdomain on Ethereum, allowing one to be an extension of the other domain on the other chain. This is possible through CCIP L2 (Cross-Chain Interoperability) and off-chain verification. This points to an off-chain server, which then points to a smart contract on the Gnosis Chain, which passes the information back to Ethereum.
The launch of Genome is consistent with Gnosis’ vision of inclusivity through open, accessible infrastructure. The project has publicly released .gno or .gnosis.eth username registrations.
