Oda Nobunaga is one of them. Japan’s three major unification artists, a very powerful and controversial figure. Yasuke’s fluency in Japanese impressed Oda, and Oda asked Yasuke to stay with him. In the trailer, Naoe sees Yasuke in Iga’s flames.
Although the campaign follows some historical reports on Yasuke’s story, there are some holes in our knowledge of the character. Ubisoft also added a “what if?” moment of the story.
“Given the length of our game, unification is a really big issue.” Akim Milne, Assistant Director, Film Design, Ubisoft said in a youtube video.

There is currently no gameplay video for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
In other words, the two characters have different play styles. Naoe, a shinobi, focuses on stealth, while Yasuke, a samurai, focuses on combat. Although both share some abilities, there is a clear advantage to sticking with what your character knows.
Aside from that, we’ll have to wait for the gameplay trailer to really understand how this game will play. But I think the broad strokes of the gameplay and world design will be familiar to what fans of the series already know and expect. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled to release on November 15th on all next-gen platforms.
