Wasim is a serial entrepreneur with 5 exits and an advisor in the field of AI, blockchain, cryptocurrency and crypto solutions. At Vault12, he led private and public fundraising efforts and is currently focused on expanding the Vault12 ecosystem. His cryptocurrency experience began at AlphaPoint, where he worked with the founding team to launch the world’s first cryptocurrency trading exchange.
Previously, he launched Identity-Based Encryption (IBE), a breakthrough in public key cryptography, and founded Voltage Security, a Stanford University spin-off that pioneered the use of sophisticated data encryption to protect sensitive data in payment systems around the world.
