Linea, the rapidly expanding zkEVM on Ethereum, has unveiled Culture SZN, its latest initiative aimed at driving community engagement within the Web3 ecosystem. According to linea.mirror.xyz, the program will highlight over 20 NFT creators and invite users to participate in minting and voting activities, ultimately forming the exclusive Linea guild.
Building a vibrant ecosystem
As part of its progressive journey from testnet to decentralization, Linea focuses on strengthening security, scalability, and decentralization within the Web3 ecosystem. The Culture SZN initiative aims to spotlight the creative community and accelerate participation by facilitating an easy NFT minting and voting process.
How to participate
Users are invited to mint NFTs and vote for their favorite communities. Mining is free, the only cost is gas. To ensure a primary focus on community engagement, platform fees for partners are waived. Users can mine NFTs through various NFT mining platforms within the MetaMask portfolio and Linea ecosystem.
Creators and community managers can also benefit from Phosphor, Linea’s no-code toolkit that simplifies NFT creation and minting directly into MetaMask portfolios. Additional partners supporting Culture SZN include Element, NFTs2ME, Mintpad, ClutchAI, and omnisea.
Structure and Timeline
Culture SZN will last for 5 weeks and consist of 4 main waves and 1 final expansion wave. Each main wave will last for a week and feature 6 creators. At the end of each wave, users will vote for the most popular mint, and the winning project will be given the title “Linea Guild”. In the fifth week, a final vote will be held to elect the fifth Linea Guild.
This event runs from July 1st to August 1st, with Mints available every day from 9:00 AM to 8:59 AM EST.
Voting and Rewards
Users can earn voting rights by participating in Mint and previous LXP incentive campaigns. Voting will take place over four days at the end of each wave. Users must mint at least one NFT in their state to vote, and the weight of their vote will depend on their LXP holdings.
Voting requires a Proof of Humanity (PoH) action, but minting does not. However, users must complete PoH to collect LXP.

Culture SZN features 24 artists from the Linea NFT community, including OctoMos, Efrogs, Linus, Foxy, Yooldo, and Toad the Great. Each artist brings their own unique creative vision to the vibrant ecosystem Linea fosters.
In the final phase of Culture SZN, Linea aims to foster numerous community-driven projects and establish five influential Linea Guilds.
