According to Tezos Spotlight, the Tezos Foundation has revealed the recipients of its latest grant program for May and June 2024, targeting a variety of projects across DeFi, gaming, and other innovative sectors.
transaction
Transak will integrate Etherlink into its liquidity system to streamline the token on-ramping process for Tezos chain partners. The integration aims to streamline user onboarding for decentralized applications (dapps) by reducing the number of steps required to start using Tezos dapps. Developers will benefit from easier integrations, increased revenue potential, happier users, and ultimately, strengthening the Tezos ecosystem.
Subsquid
Subsquid provides a data lake solution that aggregates both on-chain and off-chain data. Etherlink support is now integrated into Subsquid’s decentralized data lake, allowing developers to quickly build indexers and access all the on-chain data they need to run their applications. This development opens up new possibilities within the Tezos ecosystem, providing a powerful toolset for scalable and efficient dapp development.
3 paths
3Route is a cross-DEX on-chain aggregator that is revolutionizing trading. It provides liquidity from the most popular Tezos DEXs in a single swap, ensuring competitive pricing and low slippage. The platform’s automatic routing feature ensures cost-effective and seamless trading across multiple DEXs within the Tezos network, optimizing trading and reducing additional fees.
Baking bed
Baking Bad focuses on building and scaling blockchain explorers, developer tools, and DeFi products. Notable projects include:
DipDup is a Python framework for building smart contract indexers for dapps, allowing developers to focus on business logic rather than boilerplate code.
PyTezos is a Python library designed to interact with the Tezos blockchain, test smart contracts, and write Michelson scripts.
Netezos, a cross-platform Tezos SDK for .NET developers, provides high-performance features for interacting with the Tezos blockchain and enabling seamless integration with Unity game developers.
Future Prospects
The grantees announced in May and June 2024 are just a small sampling of the innovative projects supported by the Tezos Foundation. As the Foundation’s Permanent Grants initiative continues, we aim to foster industry-leading ideas and entrepreneurs and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible within the Tezos ecosystem.
