Eternal Paradox Season 5 is in full swing, and the competition is fiercely competing for supremacy. According to Gala News, the recent Conquest event saw SquareXII, BTB-I, and Eternals take the top three spots. But now the focus shifts to Arena, a unique battleground that requires unique strategies and skills.
Stadium Overview
Eternal Paradox’s Arena measures not only the strength of a mercenary, but also their tactical acumen and tenacity. Each Arena season lasts one week, giving players seven days to climb the leaderboard and improve their ranking. The competition consists of five main ranks: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Master, and Legend, each with three tiers.
As players progress through these ranks, they will earn greater rewards and gain more Honor Points, which can be spent on Mercenary gear or Summoning Stones in the Honor Shop. The ultimate goal is to accumulate Arena Victory Points (AVP), which determine the distribution of $ETIME rewards at the end of each season. Specifically, 20% of the total seasonal ETIME rewards will be allocated to the Arena, with the top earning 15% of that portion.

Success in the arena largely depends on the overall stats of your mercenary, which can be improved in a number of ways.

Land buffs like “Arena Mercenary Speed +10” can be key in battles. Speed determines who attacks first, and is often the difference between victory and defeat. Players are encouraged to secure lands that provide these advantageous buffs.

Contributions within the mercenary group attributes provide significant bonuses, but require strategic prioritization. These attributes can be reallocated as needed, giving you the flexibility to adapt to critical moments on the pitch.
Titles and Skins
Certain titles and skins provide boosts to many mercenary groups, increasing their effectiveness in the arena. These items are rare and often require significant effort to obtain, but the benefits can be significant.

Mercenary collections available through the tavern allow players to assign mercenaries to themed groups, which grant bonuses based on the mercenary’s rank. Currently, there is a collection that directly increases the speed of mercenaries, which is a valuable asset in Arena battles.
Fight for glory
In addition to the $ETIME rewards, Arena winners will also earn the following prestigious titles and skins:
- God of the Arena: +5% mercenary attack power, awarded to the top AVP
- King of the Arena: +3% mercenary attack power, awarded to 2nd and 3rd place AVP
- Lord of the Arena: Mercenary Attack Power +2%, awarded to 4th to 10th place in AVP
The top AVP scorer will receive the Dragon Castle skin next season, along with an additional +5 Mercenary Speed.
