According to on-chain data, crypto whales are accumulating massive amounts of Uniswap (UNI) and Aave (AAVE).
Blockchain tracking firm Lookonchain reported that a deep-pocketed investor suddenly added $4 million to his digital asset holdings by investing in UNI, the native asset of a decentralized exchange (DEX), and AAVE, a currency market protocol.
“A whale/institution bought AAVE and UNI again (on Tuesday). He deposited 4 million USDC to (crypto exchange) Kraken and then withdrew 35,983 AAVE ($3 million) and 123,183 UNI ($1 million) from Kraken. He now holds 142,296 AAVE ($12.1 million) and 1.43 million UNI ($11.6 million).”
Aave is trading at $89.61 at the time of writing, up 6% over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, UNI is trading at $8.06 at the time of writing, down slightly on the day.
Lookonchain also reported that Elwood Technologies, a cryptocurrency infrastructure and market data platform founded by billionaire Alan Howard, suddenly transferred around 18,000 Ethereum (ETH) to Binance, the world’s largest exchange by trading volume.
“Elwood deposited 17,900 ETH ($54.9 million) into Binance (July 8).”
At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $3,105, up more than 1% over the last 24 hours.
Lastly, Lookonchain discovered that cryptocurrency whales are moving massive amounts of Bitcoin (BTC) to Binance.
“The whale deposited 809 BTC ($45.18 million) back into Binance (July 8). He deposited 7,790 BTC ($468 million) into Binance since June 27 and currently holds 6,559 BTC ($379 million).”
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $57,465, down slightly over the last 24 hours.
