Cronos (CRO) zkEVM is launching a Passage quest ahead of the mainnet launch, asking users to deposit CRO or LCRO to receive zkCRO and loyalty points.
Cronos (CRO) Labs announced the launch of the Passage quest for Cronos zkEVM, the next-generation layer 2 blockchain network. The Passage quest is designed to engage users ahead of the mainnet launch, which is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Cronos zkEVM Passage Quest
The Passage quest allows users to deposit CRO or LCRO into the Cronos zkEVM bridge. In return, participants will receive zkCRO and loyalty points. These loyalty points can later be exchanged for increased cryptocurrency yields in various participating cryptocurrencies, including zkCRO and ZK.
The more CRO users deposit, the more points they can accumulate. However, this opportunity is time-limited and will end as soon as Cronos zkEVM is launched.
VVS Finance and Fulcrom Finance Updates
In related news, VVS Finance has launched a new meme coin farm, including CRO/CAW, CRO/ROBIN, and CRO/CROGINAL. Fulcrom Finance has expanded to Cronos zkEVM as part of its multi-chain strategy and listed new tokens such as PEPE, DOGE, and SHIB on the Cronos EVM chain.
Other ecosystem development
NexaBot AI, a self-storing Telegram-based trading bot, is now live for users on the waiting list. Meanwhile, Earn Network has introduced a new WCRO staking pool and is hosting a series of collaborative events with various Cronos projects.
Marswap announced that it is moving to a flat-fee trading model for its AI-powered zkDEX, with 50% of all trading fees paid directly to LP providers’ wallets, with no vesting period or termination fees.
DeFi Projects on Cronos zkEVM
Several DeFi projects, including H2 Finance, Fulcrom Finance, Wolfswap, XY Finance, and Crolon Mars, have announced plans to launch on Cronos zkEVM. In addition, popular NFT platform Ebisu’s Bay celebrated the sale of its 10 millionth NFT and announced its launch on Cronos zkEVM.
New Lists and Collaborations
Other notable updates include the listing of Crow with Knife (CAW) on Gate.io and Mistery on Cro (MERY) on LBank Exchange. LOAF has concluded its ToastOff event, distributing 2,000,000 LOAF tokens as rewards to over 5,000 unique players.
FortuneFavorsTheBozos became the second most popular farm on Ebisu’s Bay DEX and saw an increase in rewards issuance for FFTB/CRO LP staking. Several projects, including Minted’s Memeted and Puushdabutton, also announced plans to launch on Cronos zkEVM.
Technology Updates
The latest Cronos EVM V1.3 mainnet upgrade has been completed smoothly, the latest version of the Cronos zkEVM developer documentation has been published, and the oracle protocol Band Protocol is integrating the Cronos zkEVM Testnet and preparing to deploy it on the mainnet.
