Jersey City invests in Bitcoin ETF, latest pension to jump into crypto

The Wisconsin State Investment Board, the state’s public pension plan, manages about $156 billion in assets and is the largest pension plan to jump into cryptocurrencies so far, investing $160 million in a spot Bitcoin ETF earlier this year. Some smaller pension funds, such as the Houston Firefighters Relief and Pension Fund, which manages about $5 billion in assets, have been investing in cryptocurrencies for years.
