The latest addition to Gala Games’ popular game Spider Tanks is a tank body called ‘Tracks.’ According to Gala News, this new tank body is set to revolutionize gameplay with its high energy gain and unique directional drive system.
Track release
Tracks is a retro-style tank body that abandons traditional legs and adopts a more traditional tank drive system. The design, reminiscent of 15th century Canadian subcontinent tanks, is efficient and powerful. When operated by a skilled technician, it promises an incredible explosion of power.
This tank body may not be as large as the Titan, but it boasts the highest energy gain of all the Spider Tank tank bodies. This ability allows players to use more abilities more frequently, making the Track a powerful option in the arena.
Directional drive system
Unlike other tank bodies, Tracks uses a directional drive system, meaning it can move forward and backward, but not left and right. Players must constantly move to adapt to this unique movement style. Acceleration from a standstill takes time, and turning is only possible while moving, so agility and constant movement are important.
Key combination
Charger: Track/Cover
The Tracks and Carver combo takes advantage of Tracks’ high energy gain. Carver requires close combat, which is unusual for a giant tank. However, Tracks’ burst ability allows the player to cover significant distances quickly, making this combo very effective.
Speed boosters, which consume minimal energy, can be used frequently with high-level tracks. Adding repair drones for cheap maintenance allows players to use more abilities during the match.
Mobile Triage: Artillery Tracking/Repair
Consistent energy and strength on the track are important assets. However, directional drive can be a disadvantage. By staying on the periphery of the battle and using artillery, players can minimize this liability.
This combo allows the player to take on a support role, using Tracks’ high energy gain to quickly redeploy, heal teammates, and get support. The normally expensive Repair Zone ability becomes even more useful with Tracks, allowing you to heal your team more often.
Buster: Track/Bouncer
This combo takes Tracks’ slow speed but maximizes his burst damage ability. Bouncer can be devastating to the opposing team if used at the right time. Tracks’ ability to utilize Speed Boosters extensively is crucial here.
Players should use Speed Boosters strategically, saving them for crucial moments of attack and retreat, which will give allies a chance to clean up or prepare for another attack.
The road to victory
The track may be inspired by ancient designs, but it has significant relevance in modern gameplay. Players are encouraged to adapt to the directional drive system and utilize high energy gains to dominate the playing field.
Gala Games promises more exciting updates and showcases in the coming weeks to keep the Spider Tanks community engaged and excited for new content.
