Gala Games has announced the release of the Version 1 Open Beta for its highly anticipated VOX mobile title Project Cerberus. According to Gala News, the game is now available for testing on iOS and Android devices.
Key features of version 1
Version 1 of Project Cerberus includes the foundational systems that provide a glimpse into the overall game experience. Some features are not yet active in this public playtest, but the game currently offers:
- Crafting
- burial
- Account Progress
- Land Consolidation
- Account Login
Crafting
The crafting function allows players to utilize the resources they have collected. Players can access the crafting room from the top right of the VOX main screen, select a crafting station, assign workers, select a recipe, and craft an item.
burial
Initially, the store will only be able to sell items. Future updates will include the ability to purchase crafting items, exclusive cosmetics, and other cosmetics. The Gala Games store will also offer the ability to purchase exclusive items and in-game currency for $GALA.
Account Progress
Players can level up their account by completing tasks and unlocking new options and skills.
Land Consolidation
You can merge three of the same type of land to create a rarer land. This feature is currently disabled to prevent data loss before the official release, but will undergo extensive in-house testing.
Account Login
While account login functionality has been disabled in the beta, players will soon be able to log in with their Gala account to view their VOX, lands, and skins in-game.
The crafting area serves as a testing ground for various 3D building ideas, ensuring the appropriate scale and shape for upcoming landscape features. The development team is actively seeking player feedback on performance issues such as battery usage and overheating, especially on older Android devices.
As Project Cerberus gets closer to its official launch, Gala Games would like to thank the community for their participation in the beta testing phase.
