GeForce NOW is adding 19 new games to its cloud gaming library in September 2024, including titles like Age of Mythology: Retold and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 open beta.

According to the NVIDIA blog, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, will expand its library with 19 new titles throughout September 2024. This extensive lineup includes highly anticipated titles such as Age of Mythology: Retold and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 open beta.

Recommended Titles for September

The cloud gaming platform kicks off the month with seven games available for streaming this week. One of the standout additions is Age of Mythology: Retold, a reimagined version of the classic real-time strategy game. Developed by World’s Edge, Forgotten Empires, and Xbox Game Studios, the title combines beloved elements of the original games with modern visuals.

Gamers can immerse themselves in a mythological world, commanding legendary units and summoning the powers of gods from various pantheons including Atlantis, Greece, Egypt, and Norse. The game features a 50-mission campaign set in iconic locations such as Troy and Midgard. Players can also engage in one-on-one matches or play cooperatively against advanced AI opponents.

Another major highlight is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta, which runs from September 6-9. This beta gives players a chance to experience the game-changing innovations before the official launch on October 25. Both the Battle.net and Steam versions of the Open Beta can be streamed on GeForce NOW.

Games added to the platform

In addition to featured titles, GeForce NOW members can look forward to several other games launching this month.

  • ‘Frank Stone’s Cast’ (Steam, September 3)
  • ‘Age of Mythology’ (available on Steam and Xbox, PC Game Pass, September 4)
  • ‘Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts’ (Epic Games Store, Early Access September 5)
  • ‘Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’ (Steam, early access September 5)
  • ‘Crime Scene Cleaner’ (Steam)
  • ‘FINAL FANTASY XVI’ Demo (Epic Games Store)
  • ‘Sins of a Solar Empire II'(Steam)

More games are scheduled to be added throughout the rest of the month, including Frostpunk 2, Fluffy Squire, Disney Epic Mickey: Reflushed, Gridfall 2: The Dying World, and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

August Additions and Future Updates

In August, GeForce NOW added 48 new games to its library, including Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, FINAL FANTASY XVI Demo, and Black Myth: Wukong. The platform continues to update its products to ensure members have access to the latest titles without having to manually update.

Starting in October, NVIDIA announced that members will no longer have the option to play the ‘Epic Games Store’ versions of Ubisoft games on GeForce NOW. Instead, users will need to link their Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store accounts to play supported games. More information can be found on the NVIDIA support page.

As fall approaches, GeForce NOW’s extensive September lineup promises to keep gamers hooked on a variety of new and exciting titles. Members can follow GeForce NOW on social media to get the latest news on upcoming game releases and platform updates.
