Designed to provide data feeds for every token and real-world asset on every blockchain, Oracle Network DIA is set to revolutionize oracle architecture with the launch of Luminar.
The testnet for the Rollup-based network is about to launch. Meanwhile, according to a press release sent to crypto.news on September 11, the launch of Lumina will expand the utility of DIA’s native token.
Why Lumina?
The blockchain oracle market is dominated by Chainlink (LINK) and Pyth Network (PYTH), but Lumina aims to make inroads by solving one of web3’s most persistent problems: the need for a decentralized and trustless data infrastructure.
DIA claims that Luminar brings this type of advanced infrastructure to the oracle market.
DIA Product Director Ziggy Marajas said Luminar has integrated four years of innovation in the Oracle space into one powerful product.
“Lumina is the culmination of four years of Web3 infrastructure innovation, wrapped into a single product. It lays the foundation for our vision of a truly distributed, trustless oracle network that maximizes security and trust while maintaining flexibility for all use cases.”

Advanced Oracle Infrastructure
Lumina’s design leverages a modular architecture to provide advanced oracle capabilities, spanning data sourcing, validation, storage, and data feed delivery. In particular, the network’s oracle operations are run on Lasernet, DIA’s underlying Layer 2 rollup.
In the first launch, Lumina will go live on the Lasernet testnet. This first phase will also include a staking campaign for early adopters. The mainnet launch and live staking are scheduled for Phase 2, with the open mainnet launch being Phase 3.
As DIA prepares for Lumina, it aims to enhance its growth potential through key integrations. The platform currently boasts over 50 Layer 1 and 2 integrations, and its cross-chain oracle ecosystem provides data feeds to over 200 decentralized applications.
