According to a statement shared with The Block, it is based on the TON blockchain.
“To accelerate the successful adoption of Web3 solutions, it is important to build strong partnerships with exciting Web2 platforms that can quickly enable users to become familiar with the many benefits of Web3,” said Harvey Kim, TON Foundation’s Korea Country Manager. “This partnership is an important milestone for us as we continue to grow the TON blockchain across Southeast Asia.”
To showcase this new service, the organizations plan to offer 4,000 free rides at the TOKEN2049 cryptocurrency conference in Singapore from September 14 to 18.
“At TADA, we have always focused on innovation that benefits both riders and drivers. TADA mini not only simplifies ride-sharing, but also prepares us for the future by enabling the use of digital assets in real-world applications. Going forward, TADA mini plans to expand to new regions to provide this service to more customers,” said James Yang, CIO of TADA’s parent company, MVL.
Founded in 2018, TADA currently operates in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, with plans to expand to Hong Kong by the end of this year.
