Binance Announces EigenLayer (EIGEN) Integration Across Multiple Platforms

Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced the addition of EigenLayer (EIGEN) to multiple platforms, including Binance Simple Earn, ‘Buy Crypto’, Binance Convert, Binance Margin, and Binance Auto-Invest. The integration is scheduled to take place at various dates and times throughout October 2024.

Starting October 2, 2024 at 10:00 UTC, users will be able to purchase EIGEN using payment options supported by Binance Auto-Invest. This addition aims to give users more flexibility in managing their cryptocurrency assets.

Buy and sell cryptocurrency

Within one hour after EIGEN is listed on Binance Spot, users will be able to purchase EIGEN with VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay or use their wallet balance on the ‘Buy Cryptocurrency’ page. This move is expected to streamline EIGEN’s purchasing process and improve user experience.

Users can trade EIGEN for BTC, USDT and other tokens on Binance Convert for free within one hour of listing on Binance Spot. This commission-free trading is designed to encourage more users to trade EIGEN seamlessly.

Binance Margin will introduce EIGEN as a new borrowing asset in both cross margin and isolated margin. The EIGEN/USDT and EIGEN/FDUSD pairs will be available from 07:00 UTC on October 1, 2024. Users can refer to margin data for updated information on marginable assets, collateral ratios, and rates.

Binance Futures will launch the USDⓈ-M EIGEN perpetual contract on October 1, 2024 at 06:00 UTC, offering up to 75x leverage. The initial maximum funding rate is set at +2.00% / -2.00%, and the funding fee settlement cycle occurs every 4 hours. Contract specifications, including funding fees, tick sizes, and margin requirements, may be adjusted depending on market conditions.
