Off The Grid pays $500 to tip off cheating software.
Off The Grid, currently the most popular Web3 game, is being called “unplayable” by some frustrated gamers due to scammers. In response, Gunzilla Games has upgraded its anti-cheat detection systems and is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can kick out the unknown cheating software, which features tools like aimbot, wallhack, and God mode.
“Off The Grid is currently unplayable due to cheaters,” declared gaming content creator Inspector Mindblow in an X post on October 24, claiming that cheaters had ruined the game in more than half of his sessions. I did it.
“I only played 5 games and 3 of them had cheaters that ruined my experience. I love the game and I hope we succeed in resolving this issue, but it has to happen as quickly as possible.”
He didn’t mention how the scammers upset him, but many Reddit users on the Off The Grid subreddit are complaining that the gun fires so fast and can even fire through walls that it’s nearly impossible to match. -Both shoes, gamers who follow the rules catch up.
“Four people just reported hacking with ultra-long-range automatic shotguns. “This is 100% fraud.” Reddit user Holdthedoor949 wrote.
1 Castle expressed similar complaints. “I keep seeing high-speed guns shooting through walls and everything and taking out people. “This is annoying.”
“I don’t understand people who do things like that,” added Scoriox, a game critic.
Redditor D1SKON claimed that the fraud problem is caused by scammers who believe “they can make money if the currency is actually recognized.” The game is launching a token called GUN and a cryptocurrency-based marketplace, and is reportedly planning to add non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Some point out that the game, which is still in the early access stage, is going downhill if rampant cheating is not resolved quickly.
“The unfortunate reality now is that Off the Grid will die if we don’t address the optimization and fraud issues. No amount of marketing or promotion can solve the problem. I love this game, I hate to see it fail, but there was no reason to release it in this state,” game streamer “inhuman” wrote on X.
According to the official Discord channel, if you come across cheat software that is interfering with your game, provide as many details as possible to the Cheat Hunting channel. If there are any issues, the Gunzilla team will contact you.
But be careful. If two or more people report the same misconduct, only the person who discovered it first will receive a reward.
The game studio believes the issue only applies to PC, making the dubious claim that “cheats don’t exist on consoles.”
Recruiting the community to cheat for money has divided the gaming community. Some see this as a positive thing, while others think it’s a poor excuse to save resources.
Reddit user Killcycle1989 wrote: “At least they are acknowledging it. “This is a step in the right direction.”
“This has to be the next business strategy. Right? After that we will probably fix the bug ourselves,” said another Reddit user.
Have AI tokens gained traction in gaming? Traders are weighing in
Gaming tokens have plummeted over the past week.
Since October 20, Immutable (IMX) has fallen 20% to $1.33, according to CoinMarketCap data. FLOKI (FLOKI) fell 13.2% to $0.0001335. ApeCoin (APE) was trading at $1.02, down 34.7%.
As interest in Goateus Maximum and its artificial intelligence, Terminal of Truths, surges and the number of AI tokens rises, holders are wondering if the story has moved on.
Crypto critic Mr Pure Heart said: “Many potential gaming token buyers will switch to AI. AI will steal the show.”
Market analysis platform IncomeSharks told its 551,100 followers on October 23: “The game has been trying to gain popularity for five years. “It’s either long overdue or people haven’t found a way to use the tokens in the game yet.”
Bull Bull is still there. Analyst Altcoin Psycho said in an Oct. 23
“The game is picking up speed,” added Michael van de Poppe of MN Trading Capital.
Popular gaming streamer Matt Steffanina highlighted “how quickly sentiment towards Web3 games can change.”
“At first it was strong, then it was weak, and now it is strong again.”

Why do I swipe cats across my screen like I’m browsing a cat version of Tinder?
This was my first thought when I opened the Telegram clicker game Catizen.
The game starts with a cat all over the screen. Like most of the viral clicker games I’ve tried this year, I’m sitting there thinking, “What am I going to do with this?”
You’ve probably heard of Catizen, one of the most successful clicker games of 2024.
But if you’re like me and haven’t tried it yet, you’ll probably feel a sense of déjà vu looking after a Tamagotchi or playing Nintendogs on your Nintendo DS.

Ordinals turned Bitcoin into a worse version of Ethereum. Can we fix it?
Your job is to run your cat colony, check on it daily, feed it and breed the cats to create rarer and higher level cats in the game. The rarer it is, the more FISH tokens you get. — Catizen in-game currency — You can automatically earn money per second.
You can use FISH to unlock upgrades and feed your cat to keep it alive.
Are you happy? It depends. Have you enjoyed playing Tamagotchi, Nintendogs, or virtual pet care games? If you’ve ever loved getting lost in an animal-loving game, this game will be right up your alley.
The good thing is that cat breeding adds depth to the gameplay so it’s not just pointless clicking.
To be honest, after about 20 minutes Katyzen became quite boring. If I play a clicker game, I want to feel like I’m building an empire, not like a crazy cat lady running a cat breeding business.
