Republican state AG and DeFi lobby sue SEC over cryptocurrency enforcement actions

A group of state attorneys general and the DeFi Education Fund have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and five of its members, claiming the regulator overstepped its bounds in taking enforcement action against cryptocurrency exchanges.
