Evrloot, the highly anticipated blockchain-based RPG, will exit closed beta and officially launch via a free-to-play campaign in late November 2024. Developed by a global team of 13 passionate builders, Evrloot offers a roguelike game. , a light MMO experience set in a medieval fantasy world that combines deep gameplay with innovative on-chain mechanics.
Evrloot sets itself apart from most Web3 games with its unique approach. Build a fun on-chain game first, talk about it later. The game empowers players by treating NFTs as save games, making progress and achievements tangible and tradable on chain. Whether mastering fishing or crafting powerful weapons, players’ in-game experiences are captured with Soulbound or an equippable ERC-6220. Essentially, NFT 2.0 will be seamlessly accessible across the ecosystem, ensuring all wins stay with the player.
Players will have the opportunity to explore idle missions, tactical auto-battle dungeons, and an on-chain crafting system. Key features include:
- Idle missions: Players can place special lures to send their characters on a six-hour fishing expedition, giving them the chance to discover rare items.

- Tactical Dungeon: Players equip themselves with loot to explore dangerous dungeons. Only those who exit safely can keep their loot on the chain.

Evrloot began as a passion project by Polkadot fans who believed that NFTs could do more than simply exist as collectibles. The game has grown steadily during its beta phase, recording over 1.5 million on-chain transactions on Kusama and Polkadot and fostering a community of approximately 400 NFT owners. During the successful ‘Pink Event’, we reached 1,000 monthly active users (MAU). For full release, the game will be launched on Moonbeam with a seamless onboarding experience featuring wallet and gas abstraction.
Evrloot’s launch prioritizes accessibility. Players can enjoy the full gameplay experience without any barriers, without cryptocurrency wallets or prepayments. As they progress, players can upgrade their free-to-play characters with NFTs for enhanced features. However, the game ensures that free-to-play players can enjoy the full experience without the burden of upgrades.

Evrloot’s player onboarding uses gamified affiliate campaigns. Players join in-game clans that link them back to the affiliates that brought them into the game. Being part of an active in-game clan not only shows that players are allied with an existing community, but also potentially earns them important points for the second phase of the campaign. Players can sign up for free and optionally upgrade to one of 1299 exclusive NFT 2.0 characters.
With freemium upgrades, cosmetics, and marketplace fees driving its business model, Evrloot provides a sustainable economy without compromising the player experience. Evrloot will operate without tokens at launch, but players can collect points by completing tasks and referring friends.
Evrloot will also be running a giveaway campaign to coincide with the game’s release. Players who participate in certain in-game activities will have the chance to win one of three exclusive prize packs, including original concept art, an Evrloot t-shirt, and stickers hand-painted on hand-made medieval paper. Players can participate by joining the “🐂⭕️” clan for at least one day from launch date until December 21st. The winner will be drawn on December 21st and contacted via X (if linked in-game).
