One closely watched cryptocurrency strategist believes that XRP is poised to continue its strong run after a strong performance last month.
Household analyst Credible told his 446,700 followers on social media platform X that he is closely watching the XRP on Ethereum pair (XRP/ETH).
According to the analyst, his initial target for XRP/ETH will push XRP/USD into price territory last seen in January 2018, when the altcoin reached an all-time high.
“There is still 98% more upside left for ETH before the first major target is achieved for the XRP/ETH pairing.
At the current price of ETH ($4,000), XRP is over $5.
“In the immediate near term, we could see the price regaining this lower period range and rising up to 30% to surpass $3 for the first time in six years.”
Ultimately, Credible believes that XRP will explode to new all-time highs this cycle, potentially reaching at least $10.
“We will wait for double digits. I am scalping/trading XRP as actively as possible on my trading port. So this is how I ‘take profits’ but I won’t touch that point until I think the XRP cycle is over or close to the end. “Right now we are far from that.”
As of this writing, XRP is trading at $2.51.
As for the broader altcoin market, cryptocurrency analysts expect older coins, which have been marred over the past few years, to hit all-time highs before the current bull market ends.
“Many believe that a new all-time high (ATH) will not be achieved in USD as many of the ‘old guard’ have seen their market caps much higher due to token inflation…
I support the idea that most coins that are down 80-90% (and have been for several months) will surpass their previous ATH by the end of this cycle (unless it is a complete scam/rug).”
