I have an old Windows XP system that has my wallet.dat file and the program has been deleted but it’s still in the registry (original Satoshi client) but I can’t access it or don’t know how. I saved the wallet.dat file to a separate hard drive and downloaded Bitcoin Core to another computer, but it doesn’t work because it doesn’t recognize the path. I tried using an older version of Bitcoin Core, but it says the file is corrupted. Please give me some advice. Are you sure you can get the information from the registry?
