According to a press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine, Serbia’s capital city of Belgrade welcomes the launch of HUB21, a pioneering non-profit association dedicated to fostering education, research, and creating networking avenues within the global Bitcoin design and development ecosystem. The launch of the association aims to bridge the gap in understanding and participation of Bitcoin within Serbia’s fast-growing IT environment.
Belgrade, known for its cultural vitality and historical innovation, is ready to attract foreign experts, investors and creative minds to HUB21. Serbia boasts an abundance of IT talent and has attracted international companies, but the absence of Bitcoin projects is evident. HUB21 aims to educate more aspiring programmers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs to recognize the transformative power of Bitcoin and leverage the ever-evolving interest in Bitcoin.
HUB21’s agenda is to provide educational resources in Serbian, host regular meetups, workshops and seminars, and create an inclusive space for both beginners and experts in the industry. The Association’s vision extends to empowering local talent from diverse fields to leverage Bitcoin and foster their initiatives.
Startups Primal.net and PeakShift have played a pivotal role in realizing and supporting HUB21’s vision. The launch of the HUB21 website provides a gateway to a range of upcoming events, which can be found here.
