The Taiko ecosystem concluded the first season of the Trailblazers competition, rewarding the best decentralized applications (dApps) with a significant allocation of TAIKO tokens. According to taiko.mirror.xyz, the initiative, designed to foster innovation, distributed a total of 2 million TAIKO tokens to standout dApps in Season 1.

The competition tracked dApp usage and engagement and generated additional excitement through monthly competitions. These challenges spanned three main sectors: gaming, decentralized finance (DeFi), and bridging, allowing dApps to showcase community engagement and creativity. The initiative aimed to push the boundaries of innovation within the blockchain space.
Among the top performers, DTX earned the highest total reward, securing 260,000 TAIKO tokens, followed by Crack and Stack with 210,000 tokens. Other notable mentions include iZUMi, OKU, and Rhino.fi, each recognized for their significant contributions to the ecosystem.
