Public goods security work
ETH Rangers provides a stipend to support individuals who dedicate their time to public good security efforts within the Ethereum ecosystem. Over six months, participants will each receive $25,000 USD.
What types of work are considered public good security work?
Public goods security work includes efforts to strengthen the security and resilience of the Ethereum ecosystem. This may include activities such as conducting vulnerability research, creating training materials, pro bono incident handling or auditing, and developing tools and frameworks to benefit the community. The goal is to support projects and individuals committed to securing Ethereum’s infrastructure and creating a strong, trustless environment for everyone.
Can I apply if I am currently working in the public goods security field?
Yes, being currently employed in the public goods security sector does not disqualify you from applying. We are looking for individuals, whether employed or not, who can devote significant time to advancing the security of Ethereum’s public goods.
