GOAT Gaming Launches AlphaGOAT — Everyone Will Become ‘Your Own Guild’
Gamers will soon be able to make money without having to lift a finger when AI-powered Telegram gaming network GOAT Gaming discontinues its AI agents next month.
“AlphaGOATs” will play games for you, bet on prediction markets, and potentially win cryptocurrency for you. But don’t quit your day job just yet.
Launching February 6, AlphaGOATs will be able to compete in mini-game tournaments in the GOAT Gaming ecosystem, which has over 5 million active players.
Simon Davis, CEO of Mighty Bear Games, told Web3 Gamer: “It’s almost like going to Rome and owning a gladiator’s stable.
He said that a variety of games will be released into the GOAT ecosystem that are explicitly created for AlphaGOAT to be played independently.
“For example, one of them is two players trying to kill each other with rocket launchers. It’s very excessive and very fun,” he says.
Once your AlphaGOAT becomes a “Top Performer,” your match will be streamed live and you will receive rewards based on the popularity of your stream. This will be paid in GOAT cryptocurrency tokens, which will be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
Davis says there are also “friends with benefits” affiliate schemes. If your agent promotes an affiliate link, anyone who signs up to GOAT Gaming through that link will earn you cryptocurrency.
“Basically, everyone can be their own guild,” Davis says.
Retail investors will approach gaming NFTs differently in this bull market.
Balance.fun co-founder Norris Wang said investors will approach NFTs differently in the 2021 bull market. This felt like a “catch them all” Pokemon approach.
“To be honest, user enthusiasm for NFTs in Web3 games is decreasing,” a blockchain gaming platform executive told Web3 Gamer.
Wang believes that the era of speculation is over and gaming NFTs should “go back to the roots” and be linked to characters from enjoyable games.
“Game users have to truly love the game, then they will buy NFTs, just like they like a certain character in Genshin Impact and want to spend a lot of money to draw cards,” he says.
“If this character is an NFT, ownership of it is actually vested in the user. “This is the future of gaming NFTs.”
One NFT collection that has been receiving a lot of attention recently is Parallel Avatars. This is a set of handcrafted AI agents for use in Parallel Colony, an AI survival game scheduled for release later this year.
The current floor price limit is 0.66 Ether (ETH), or approximately $2,190 USD.
Despite the green shoot, only time will tell if NFTs will make a true comeback this year. According to DappRadar, 2024 was the worst year for trading volume and sales since 2020, with markets hit hard by volatility and rising token prices.
Wang is looking at two key Web3 gaming trends for 2025: how AI will be used in gaming and the value of node sales (a way to raise capital is by selling blockchain nodes to the community) in gaming and SocialFi projects.

He believes that selling nodes is not just “a gimmick and a fundraising strategy,” but a new way to build healthy communities.
He also believes that interaction between AI and other AI, and AI and humans, will be “the future of mainstream gaming.”
Hot Take: Flappy Bird
The Telegram gaming craze is still pretty strong, and now classic mobile hit Flappy Bird is back in cryptocurrency gaming.
If you’ve never played Flappy Bird, you’ve probably come across a variation of the game where you control an animal that flies between green bars while trying to avoid hitting it while collecting eggs along the way.
Level up and earn points in this fun and addictive game that will keep you hooked.
This is one of those games that requires a few warm-ups before you actually get into it, but once you get into the zone it’s pretty fun. If you like games like Angry Birds or Cube Runner, you’ll probably like this game.
The most annoying thing to me about the game is the small delay between tapping the screen and the bird actually moving. I tend to tap twice before the first item registers, so my score isn’t very good (as you can see on the right).
Overall, this game isn’t all that amazing, but it’s very addictive, easy to play, and will definitely test your patience. Oh, and a strong warning. If you keep hitting the green bar, your hair may fall out.
The game is currently in “Flap-a-TON” mode, and if you play now you can receive an airdrop of FLAP cryptocurrency tokens, which will be released in 2025.
So, there are no cryptocurrencies in your time yet, but fingers crossed that the project actually delivers those tokens as they say.

There’s also a strong community behind it. According to the roadmap, “a group of passionate fans” have established the Flappy Bird Foundation with the intention of drawing players back to simple traditional games, including cryptocurrency elements.
