NVIDIA’s survey revealed that the communications of AI, improved profits, cost reduction, and improved customer experience. AI in RAN and AI produces a lot of attention.
According to a recent survey conducted by NVIDIA, the telecommunications sector increases artificial intelligence (AI) more and more efficiency and improves operation. A study entitled ‘AI State of AI in Telecommunications’ provides insight into how AI is integrated into various aspects of the industry, including customer experience and network operation.
Increased AI adoption in communication
According to NVIDIA’s survey, which surveyed more than 450 telecommunications experts worldwide, AI adoption is increasing significantly. The famous trend emphasized by the survey is to place the AI on RAN (Radio Access Networks). More than one-third of the respondents plan to invest in AI-RAN. The driving force for the use of AI is even more clear in various applications that are explored from the production AI to the network optimization.
According to the main results of the survey, almost all respondents deploy or evaluate the AI project. In particular, 84%of the participants contributed to the annual sales increase, while 77%reported the decrease in annual operating costs. In addition, 60%cited improved employee productivity as the main advantage of AI integration.
Business impact and future prospects
This survey emphasizes the actual impact of AI on business metrics in the telecommunications industry. 84%of respondents recognize sales growth caused by AI, and 21%are increasing trust in the business value of AI due to more than 10%increase in certain areas. In addition, 77%of the participants recorded the cost reduction due to AI, emphasizing the role in operational efficiency.
In the future, 80%of telecommunications experts believe that AI is important for the company’s future success, and two -thirds plan to increase spending on AI infrastructure next year. This focus on AI investment emphasizes the industry’s promise to lead in the competitive environment.
AI integration of network operation
The role of AI is expanding in the network operation, and 37%of the respondents have invested in AI for network plans and operations. The survey also pointed out that 33 percent invested in AI last year to optimize field operation. As a telecommunications company explores the potential of AI, this technology is used to generate 5G revenue, 6G research and development, and 66%are aimed at deploying AI services in RAN for operational efficiency.
Increased influence of production AI
Generate AI is gaining traction from communication, and more than half of the survey participants will already distribute the first use case and the other third plan will do so within a year. 84%of those who adopt the creation AI offer external solutions to customers, 52%of the services select the software model, and 35%offer a platform for developers.
According to the NVIDIA survey, it tends to use several approaches to AI development, including in -house and open source functions, and reflects various strategies to utilize the potential of AI.
