SEI LABS achieves a significant milestone with five gigagas throughput in 40-node networks to improve blockchain scalability by utilizing the Autobahn Consensus protocol.
SEI LABS announced the innovation of blockchain expansion and achieved 5 gigas throughout the internal decent test. According to SEI, the milestone has reached a 40 node network distributed in four regions.
Benchmark results
Det tests that simulated the actual network conditions have shown the continuous processing capacity of the 5 gigabit gas. This test, which is performed in Singapore, Germany, Ohio and Oregon, maintained a 700ms final and showed network elasticity across geographical distribution.
Autoban protocol architecture
Autoban protocol supports this performance. Use a hybridized architecture that combines the data supply layer inspired by the DAG and a partially synchronized BFT consensus layer. This design aims to reduce the waiting time and improve the recovery from network asynchronous.
Autobahn separates asynchronous transactions from consensus. Effective tests are referred to as an acyclic graph indicated after broadcasting the broadcast block, collecting the availability proof, and then indicated. The agreement leader led by the rotating leader finishes these blocks with the second round PBFT style protocol.
Main innovation and function
The noticeable innovation of Autobahn allows a quick finishing by ensuring data availability before the agreement with non -regular path data availability verification. This approach greatly reduces the waiting time while maintaining high throughput and strong security.
Autobahn’s module design supports parallel block production and efficient data distribution to improve both throughput and elasticity. It also provides fast path optimization for ideal conditions to reduce message delays during the agreement.
Future
SEI LABS plans to explore the technical aspects of the work in -depth and explore the details, optimization and comparison with other protocols. The organization is recommended to cooperate with developers and researchers to develop blockchain infrastructure expansion.
