NVIDIA introduces DriveOS LLM SDK, placing large language models in autonomous vehicles to improve AI -centered applications with optimized performance.

NVIDIA unveiled the latest innovation Driveos LLM SDK with the goal of simplifying the distribution of large language models (LLM) in autonomous vehicles. According to NVIDIA, this development shows a big leap to improve the function of the AI drive car system.

LLM deployment optimization

The Driveos LLM SDK is designed to optimize the inference of state -of -the -art LLM and vision language models (VLM) on NVIDIA’s Drive AGX platform. Based on the powerful NVIDIA Tens1 inference engine, SDK integrates LLM specific optimization, including customist kernels and quantization technologies to meet the needs of resources limited automotive platforms.

Major functions and components

The main components of the SDK include a plug -in library for special performance, an efficient token firearm for smooth integration of multimodal inputs, and a CUDA -based sample for optimized text creation and dialogue. The decoder module further improves the reasoning process, enabling flexible and high -performance LLM deployment on various NVIDIA drive platforms.

Supported models and precision formats

The SDK supports a variety of state -of -the -art models such as LLAMA 3 and QWEN2, including FP16, FP8, NVFP4 and INT4, to reduce memory usage and improve kernel performance. These features are important for efficiently distributing LLMS in car applications with the highest waiting time and efficiency.

Simplified workflow

NVIDIA’s Driveos LLM SDK exports the complex LLM distribution process and simplifies the onnx model and simplifies two simple stages of engine construction. This simplified workflow is designed to facilitate the distribution of the edge device, allowing access to a wide range of developers and applications.

Multi modal function

SDK also solves the need for multimodal input in automotive applications that support models such as QWEN2 VL. The C ++ implementation of image pretreatment and the vision input with the language model to expand the scope of the AI function in the autonomous system.

conclusion

The Driveos LLM SDK uses NVIDIA TENSORT engine and LLM specific optimization technology to set up new standards for distributing advanced LLM and VLMs to the drive platform. This initiative is ready to display important milestones in the technology evolution of the automotive industry by improving the performance and efficiency of AI driving applications in autonomous vehicles.
