Openzeppelin’s contract wizard now supports Stellar (XLM) platform to simplify the creation of a safe and standardized smart contract for the network.
Openzeppelin expands support with Stellar (XLM) network.
Openzeppelin has announced that the contract wizard has greatly improved to developers working in the Stellar ecosystem by supporting Stellar’s Smart Contracts platform. According to Stellar, this integration aims to simplify the process of creating a safe and standardized smart contract.
Simplified development as a contract wizard
Integrating the contract wizard of Openzeppelin into Stellar’s platform, providing developers with a tool that can easily create fierce tokens and other contract types. The wizard simplifies the development process by providing user -friendly interfaces to organize and distribute contracts without deep technical expertise in blockchain coding.
Preliminary return for developers
To utilize the contract wizard, a developer must install a specific tool, including the latest stable version of Rust, Cargo (Rust ‘S Package Manager) and SEP-41 libraries. As of March 2025, the SEP-41 library is open source, but it is not yet provided as a Rust Crate, so you need local settings or forks in GitHub’s example repository.
Distribution process
If the necessary tools are installed, the developer can use the following command to build a project. cargo build
and cargo test
. The distribution process compiles the project of the Webassemble Target, uses the STELLAR’s command line interface for contract distribution, and checks the contract address using a block explorer set as a testnet network.
Implications for Stellar’s ecosystem
This development is ready to improve the ecosystem of Stellar by improving the stellar ecosystem so that developers can participate more easily on the platform, increasing the distributed applications and the extensive adoption of Stellar’s technology. As more developers use these tools, the network can see innovative solutions and applications.
Openzeppelin’s support for Stellar refers to the trend of interoperability and convenience in blockchain development, reflecting the industry’s overall promotion for more accessible and safe smart contract solutions.
