SEI introduces a new framework for community -based protocol evolution so that developers, verifiers and users can propose and implement changes in the ecosystem.
The SEI network has unveiled the SEI improvement proposal (SIPS), the latest initiative, a structured framework designed to promote community -oriented protocol evolution. According to the official announcement of SEI, this new system reflects the concept of Etherrium Improvement (EIP) and Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIPS), providing a formal path for stakeholders to change, discuss, and implement within the SEI ecosystem.
What is the SEI improvement proposal?
The SIP acts as a detailed design document for introducing new features or modifications to the SEI network. Each proposal includes comprehensive technical specifications and justification to ensure clarity of the proposed content, importance and implementation process.
SIP Life Cycle
The progress of the SIP includes some major stages that start from the idea stage and move, review, review, final call, final, implement, and ultimately activate. This structured life cycle requires a strict community survey and technical evaluation before each proposal is placed on the SEI main net.
Strategic impact beyond governance
The introduction of SIP shows important governance changes, but the strategic impact also affects more extensively. Developers provide a direct way to affect the core protocol function and document technical decisions. The effective test is obtained for the official channel for consensus optimization and network parameters, while users and token holders benefit from participation in increasing transparency and functional priorities.
First ecosystem SIP: silo
The first SIP of the SEI ecosystem, written by Silo Team members, focuses on improving the effective test function through the OFFCHAIN Transaction Bundles. This proposal aims to optimize block space efficiency and commission revenue, indicating a strategic step towards high -end transaction orders within the network.
Progressive
The SIP framework is evidence of devotion to the progressive distribution of SEI, and strengthens the building and users to form the future of the network. This initiative complements SEI’s existing decentralization efforts, including the expansion of the validation test and the core protocol components of the open sourcing.
Participate in community efforts
The SEI community is recommended to participate in the SIP process by proposing new ideas or participating in discussions. This collaboration approach aims to use collective intelligence in the community to lead technology and governance innovation within the ecosystem.
