Ether Leeum’s strengths are not only technically technically and in social and structurally distributed. This blog makes it clear as one of the stewards of the ecosystem. As we welcome this moment, we use it as an opportunity to rewrite the vision, principles and values we continue to support. This priority is not a strict plan Strategy described by EF’s joint ED. By defining our approach and focus, we also aim to clarify our efforts and to clarify the ecosystem with the participation of everyone.
Vision
In order to maintain the elasticity in the changing environment, to manage the Infinite Garden, which is a project, community and infrastructure ecosystem built around Ether Leeum. We support Ethereum as an open and authorized platform that brings for stability, freedom and technically powerful cooperation for millions of people around the world as a shared world computer. We respect the fact that Ether Leeum is already in use, creating real values in the community around the world.
In that spirit, we accept the metaphor of Infinite Garden to describe the Etherum ecosystem. Architects, dreamers, and stewards around the world are living an ideas and supporting each other when building tools to finance, identity and other roots in the soil of civilization for decades.
Our role
The biggest advantage of Ether Leeum is an unparalleled ecosystem. Many teams and organizations outside the EF develop the boundaries by supporting technology innovation, educational events and public goods to contribute to Ether Leeum. The Etherrium Foundation exists to strengthen these benefits and support Ether Leeum’s core values. We support the gap, correct imbalances and important initiatives. It always prevents a single actor (including EF) to control the evolution of Ether Leeum. We strategically stepped on and intentionally developed in stages, continuously adjusting our focus as Etherrium mature and the environment develops.
We practiced intentional subtractions to help others in the ecosystem take most of their responsibilities. Today we see our roles in two ways:
- We do what others can’t do today.
- We help others to do only what we can do today.
This focuses on the high leverage area that can support the ecosystem as a way for others to do through the unique location of the EF, while others can eventually lead in the event. The following is an example of how this actually appears.
We stood up to do things that no one can do today.
- Ether Leeum infrastructure funding and maintenance, such as client diversity.
- Adjust the core protocol upgrade (e.g. Merge, Dencun), where neutral cleaning holders are essential. It’s an important initiative that will be completed within the next 12 months and the long -term efforts to define the role of Ether Leeum for the next 10 years.
- It supports zero knowledge research and open source tooling to strengthen the border of personal information protection technology.
- Host a whole ecosystem (like Devcon) that gathers various global contributions.
- Ethereum.org as a neutral public knowledge hub for new users and builders.
Here are the following places that help others grow into a role.
- Subsidies until they maintain their own initial stage public projects or support community funds.
- Open sourcing education content, developer tooling and research for others.
- Helps new adjustment mechanisms and guides you to an independent steward (e.g. Maci pilot, protocol guild, and retroactive public money financing).
- Geographical decentralization and local leadership support:
- The following 1 billion people -It is granted to local builders in the underprivileged.
- Subsidies to the grassroots community -The regional Etherum ecosystem reinforcement.
- The way to Devcon -The participation and growth of the community ahead of Devcon.
- Devcon scholar -Access and support for participants in prominent communities.
Our approach
Adaptive evolution
We evolve with the ecosystem to continue to re -evaluate our roles and influences. Our structure and initiative adapt to the changing demands of Ether Lee while maintaining key principles.
Thinking
We work for elegant solutions and accept the necessary complexity of the distributed system. Our goal is not to simplify its own, but to achieve balance through careful design.
We support and amplify community -led initiatives to help independent teams to succeed without continuous dependence on the foundation.
Core Principles:
Long -term accident
We optimize the long -term success of Ether Leeum for short -term profits to evaluate all decisions on sustainable and multi -generation effects and recognize that continuous elasticity requires continuous learning, adaptation and evolution.
Steward of value
We protect and nurture the core values of Ether Leeum. Censorship resistance, open source, personal information and security -We empower the ecosystem to grow and evolve independently. We preserve these essential characteristics as the basis of continuous innovation and progress.
Intentional subtraction
We are designed for elasticity as follows, rather than accumulating strength.
- Maintain multiple access, solutions and teams
- Various participation
- Collaboration promotion
- Reduced centralization
Building elasticity is not less. Often you need to add new mechanisms and complexity, but you should always achieve a goal to create an anti -ecosystem that extensively distributes power and ownership.
Future goal
As we move in the central time and for the next few years, our direction is formed by a clear vision. The team is deeply involved, and active projects are already in progress to support Ether Leeum’s continuous evolution. Future work is not a benchmark. It is about focusing on our energy where our energy is the most important. To guide our collective focus, we explained some influential areas, that is, the actual results that everyone in the Etherrium ecosystem can contribute.
This goal is not static. They will continue to develop with ecosystems and demands of the world around us.
The role of Ethereum Foundation is to identify the advanced gap. It is to instruct an effort to make a maximum effect (a place that can contribute to its unique position).
Goal: Maximizes the number of people who use Etherrium (direct indirectly) by gaining profit from Ether Leeum’s basic value.
How can you see meaningful use:
- Internet new financial approach: People who use assets to an Etherrium for paying, savings and asset buildings, or those who use tokenized assets -especially if the fiat infrastructure is limited, untrusted, or a robbery, or today’s infrastructure, but not easily reliable tomorrow.
- Internet organization: People who participate in the DAO with a programmable incentive structure that enables new forms of adjustment, decision -making and capital formation that transcends the limitations of traditional approaches
- Distributed social media: Those who use the Etherrium -based social media platform stored in a network where content is dispersed allows users to switch clients without giving up their social graphs.
- Distributed AI: In order to build an Ether Leeum to provide security guarantee to verify the AI model, and to create an economic framework for AI agents to adjust each other and humans using Ether Leeum (e.g., fine prediction market)
- Enterprise benefits: People who use institutional applications using Ether Leeum in backend. If it is properly built, this can provide benefits such as audit, personal information protection, interoperability, and “escape” mechanism even if the user usually interacts with the app through a server without a wallet (e.g., the chain restriction is the ability to terminate the asset in L1 and interact with L1 defi; ZK-PROVE’s ability to certificate credentials).
What is that No ~:
- A custody wallet that can only be sent to an approved custody wallet that only ETH or tokens.
- In fact, an institution that publishes hash to represent the event without providing a security attribute to the user.
Goal: Maximizes the elasticity of Ether Leeum’s technology and social infrastructure.
Recovery is as follows:
- Ecosystem: EF or other single organization independently flourishes
- Value alignment: Even if you face a strong interest in the other direction,
- Team diversity: The strengths and revenge of the independent development team
- Network firmness: Rivals, censorship resistance, and safety maintenance
- dispersion: Single control point or breakdown
- Pre -risk management: The ability of the ecosystem to identify and relieve the central failure point that may occur over time
What is that No ~:
- It is 100 strong teams in education, customer development, or event organization, but all rely on EF for funding.
- It is high in some sectors, but in other sectors, very low time is very low, making it an important bottleneck (e.g. wallet, monopoly ZK proverb, social single failure point).
- Performance diversity, which is the basis of common vulnerabilities (for example, 20 customers who use most of the same code -based, and 100 events run by the same centralized organization)
As we strive for this influence area, we are also based on the long -term perspective, which is considered a living ecosystem with the potential to serve humanity for the future as well as Etherrium as well as technology.
We envision the future of Ether Lee’s elastic and neutral platform for global adjustment. In other words, decentralization should be maintained in development and governance, innovation will thrive in all classes of the stack, and communities around the world can create and maintain their adaptive solutions. We believe that the technical and social elasticity of the network will continue to strengthen, and the EF will do everything within vision and ability so that we can succeed together.
