The slot also features cascading reels. This feature removes symbols associated with winning combinations, allowing new symbols to take the empty spots. Once another winning combination is formed, the process is repeated until no more winning combinations are created. In GempPOP slots, the height of the reels increases by 1 for each symbol on that reel that is included in a winning combination, up to a maximum of 5 symbols in the base game. Then there are multipliers.
The reel multiplier on each reel increases by 1, and each symbol makes up a reel in groups of 3 or more. So if the reels have 5 symbols high, the multiplier will be 4x. This multiplier is then applied to all winning combinations containing the symbols on those reels.
A round of the slot’s free spins feature begins when three or more bonus symbols appear. When you start a round, you’ll be given the option to try gambling the amount of free spins you’ve unlocked to win more, or take what you originally received and avoid the risk of losing it.
